I came up with this tank and brackets that can be used to fit many different string trimmers. As long as you are slightly mechanically minded it should not be to hard. Most machines have screw holes at the rear or on the bottom of the block that you can use. Kit also has extra fuel line that you may need to adapt to different machines. When mounting to 3000SS you have to remove the front engine stand and use the mounting holes that now left open.
When mounting to model 3000LP install the 2 metal brackets between the trigger module and the block then use the extra piece of fuel line to connect return line to tank.
If your currant tank has a fuel primer on the side of or between the carb and tank you may also need to add a in line primer our number 11510. Two fuel lines come out of the tank the smaller one is the suction line it has a fuel filter on the other end inside the fuel tank. It connects to the suction nipple on the carb. You may need to use a short piece of the yellow line as a coupler from the small line to the larger nipple on the carb. The larger line coming out of the tank is the return line so you don't squirt gas out on the ground. If not needed plug it off with a small screw or nail.
